Soup Restaurant

Feel free to visit the above website for their history
(taken from Soup Restaurant's official website)
I went there twice for dinner with my family and found this restaurant full of customers.Normally you can expect to wait for at least 20 minutes to be seated.Overall service has been pretty good and thumbs up for their nutritious home-cooked food.
chinese braised peanuts as side dish
I love the shiny surface
Ah gong Fan Shu Yip
There are 2 versions available-Ah Gong(Spicy) and Ah Por(non spicy)
Fan Shu Yip is sweet potato leaves in cantonese and this is finger licking good.I personally prefer the Ah Gong version because i think sambal and sweet potato leaves are the perfect combination.Ah Por version is more suitable to people who cant/dont eat spicy food.
Their signature dish-Samsui Ginger Chicken.
The small bowl in the middle is ginger with oil(i dont really know what kind of oil they added). The shiny and juicy chicken definitely worth trying. The first time i went this dish already finished and luckily we able to try during the second visit.
Soup of the day-Lou wong gua soup(old cucumber soup)
Basically they have different soup everyday
Anyway, there are also herbal soup that selling everyday.
Soup of the day during my first visit-corn soup
Finger licking good!
Sweet and sour pork with cherry tomatoes
a.k.a
Gu lou yuk
My all time favourite dish!I was in love with sweet and sour pork since young. This might not the best in town but it tastes great.
Spicy long bean
Once again not advisable for non-spicy food lover try this.I can say the dish is not too spicy but will surely stimulate your taste buds.
